I'm not personally very interested in conspiracy theories, but whenever something is classified and a government puts significant effort into keeping it classified, it grabs my attention. So when the USA announced that it would begin declassifying its UFO sighting records, it naturally interested me.
I browsed through part of what was released. Most of the documents are boring reports that reveal very little, but some contain quite interesting information that appears repeatedly across different reports. And bear with me here: most of these reports come from a time before modern methods of rapidly spreading information existed, yet some of them are surprisingly similar.
I went far enough to also examine the archives of the French Republic, which are, by the way, among the most open UFO archives in the world. Even there, some of the same patterns appear. I'll leave it up to you to decide what you want to believe.
